question: how do you feel about being hugged/ touched, by the people that know you?. do you find it an invasion of your privacy and something you can't handle, or do you find it comforting and a much needed support?

I like physical affection. I suppose mostly from my husband. I always loved hugging and kissing my mother, too. [Best hug in the world!] And my pets. As for other family members, I don't mind it, but the rest of my family aren't'/weren't very huggy kissy types. I'm otherwise not, either. Not because I don't like it, but more how I was raised (customs). In my husband's country, it's more common to give the stereotypical central European kisses on both cheeks. Again, I don't really mind it, but generally don't initiate.
Was there ever a point in your life (or bipolar experience) when you felt your behavior was very strange or peculiar?
