Well the plot thickens as far as the Delta variant woman. The Health Ministry finally admitted that the woman had spent only one day in an isolation hotel and then she was allowed to leave after a negative test due to "Christian humanitarian" reasons since she came to the country because her father died. Seriously? It's not like she was any less contagious because her dad passed away. They then lied and said she didn't go to the funeral. A family member came forward to refute that and indicated that she had also attended a wake at a restaurant. and gone to several stores. It seems that no one can find proof of the existence of a humanitarian exemption from quarantines.
As you can imagine, this is a huge scandal. If the Health Ministry lied about this, what else have they lied about. Can we trust the case numbers? Have other people coming into the country been allowed to avoid isolating and it wasn't found out? Maybe this will finally be the last nail in the coffin of this criminal government. How can the Health Ministry leadership act with any authority after blatantly lying?
If we can trust the numbers, active cases are at a comparatively low point. However, that is not going to last. 24 more municipalities in my region are leaving lockdown on Tuesday. Add that to the Delta variant, which that woman has been spreading around in the Maule region, and I am sure cases are going to ramp right up again. |

rechu, the thing happening with this woman is pretty incompetent. How many people couldn’t see their deceased relatives to avoid contagions along the pandemia? Countless.
If this kind of incompetence wouldn’t have happened also at the beginning of the pandemia, I had thought the virus already effected our heads but, nah, we are made like that by default. lol!
I also wanna rant a little. The mask alone is not a guarantee to avoid contagions. They reduce the possibilities of you transmitting the virus. Am I right?

I have been all kinds of politicians in a crowd celebrating different things that has to do with Politics here and that is not relevant for what I’m gonna say. I have just seen them hugging among them, hugging with the public.
But, the problem is the youth. It’s being putting all the blame on them now. Isn’t it a paradox?
Am I right? Or am I taking it to an extreme? I mean, am I wrong?
