He’s only thinking about himself and not taking responsibility for his own feelings/behaviour. You’re not responsible for either of those things. I’m sorry to hear about your mum, but staying with your dad another night is not something you need to apologise to your boyfriend for. Your dad is also grieving, and extending your visit is understandable. Your boyfriend is being unreasonable at best.
