I am following through with my plan to take most of the week off. I worked Monday, but it allowed me to finish something that would've nagged at me if I left it undone.
Yesterday I met a friend at a farmer's market she told me about. I went a little nuts buying fresh fruit, but I love the fruit available this time of year. Plus it is truly fresh. They bring it in daily. They also have a deli. Picked myself up a sandwich to have when I got home. Stopped at the outlet mall to get new Reeboks. The clerk was this nice young fella who said I seemed like a nice person and he wanted to give me a discount. He ended up giving me the discount. 
Afternoon monsoons started not long after I got home. Ate my samich then took a short nap. Ended up napping on and off the rest of the day. Nice start to my time off!
