I have even had a few instances lately- where I have eaten 2 meals because I can't remember if I have eaten or not

Yeah, I'm quite good at noticing and remembering strings of information as well (another reason why I considered autism at some point). I still am. It's mainly when I'm in a severe depressive episode that I notice my memory taking a hit, but it usually recovers afterwards.
