I'm sorry for what you're going through. I'm not that ''confident'' either (I used to be more at one time...) I wonder if you can identify events/illnesses - bipolar etc/people etc which may have contributed to this loss of confidence. (no need to tell me). I think a good therapist could help. I hope you keep posting and that today is a bit better for you! I agree with MickeyCheeky that there are some good self help books out there these days. Maybe a book on DBT?
I'm also not great at ''standing up for myself'' against ''authority figures'' who are not great at their jobs or all that kind, grrrr.
