So many people wander this earth
wondering what their purpose is.
Those who believe in God,
or a higher power,
can gain the higher view
and enjoy the horizon.

We are here for others.
The idea of "pay it forward"
did not originate with a movie.
Even if your sight is foreshortened,
begin where you are.

Visit someone who is ill; pray for him
Take food to a needy person.
Volunteer.
Distribute tracts of encouragement to those
in your neighborhood.
Give someone your smile.
Look beggars in the eye,
even if you have nothing else to give.
Respect others.
Appreciate other's efforts to encourage.

Don't be quick to blow your car horn.
Allow others to cut in front of you.
Realize they might be having a worse day
than you.

Begin where you are; do with what you have.
