What is your opinion about the volume of the music?

Reasonable construction noise comes with the territory, I would be civil but ignore his complaints about that. Perhaps say that things will be back to normal in X weeks according to the current plan.

With regard to your post-construction future: I would cross that bridge when I come to it.
