Well, there are actualy two ones, I think both are local, but hey, they could be natoinal too...I don't remember

The first, is about a 7 month old baby who was beaten to death by a man who was watching her at the time. Which is terrible in itself except the mother KNEW he was abusive to her baby and STILL let him watch her while she went to work. And yet, she claims that she has no responsibilityin her baby's death.

Now the second story is about a woman who has fostered about 75 children during her x-amount of time as a foster parent. Well, six months ago she stopped fostering kids and only wanted to take care of her adoptive 10-year-old son. Well, that's all fine and dandy until they had gotten reports of abuse and when they went to investigate, the child had no bed, had to "eat his own waste" and I think was physicly absed as well. Social Services used to go into her home all the time and said that she was one of their best parents and that the conditoins must have severly declined during the past six months (and because he was her adopted son- they don't have to investigate her house- which is why the abuse was going on) in any case, the story has a happy ending with the boy being in a new home now who really takes care of him.
