I'd like to add that about reading emotions with masks, I'm not that affected by that because I almost never look at my T, I have my eyes closed almost constantly. But he can tell pretty well when I'm getting upset (either my other face muscles move as well, I make noises and he knows what we're talking about anyways or the rest of my body moves of freezes up), the mouth of course helps, but it's really not that difficult. There have been more issues with understanding each other sometimes, but the vocal stuff works for both of us. It would feel nice to see his face again completely sometimes, but I have some old pictures of him and sometimes he just got out of his kitchen and is taking out his mask and I can see his face. I'm pretty sure if I asked him to hold his breath for 30 seconds and take off his mask while looking at me, he'd do that too.
