Over 42,000 cases today, they are predicting 100,000 a day in this wave. It looks to me like they're trying to purposefully bring it on ahead of winter.

London transport have insisted face coverings will still be mandatory but who knows about everywhere else. My employer (major retailer) is yet to issue a statement, along with the majority of retailers. I know the union is pushing for face coverings to stay.

The government are saying face coverings will no longer be mandatory but people should still wear them!
