I've got a lot of housework to catch up on. For a few weeks I neglected so much. I thought it was due to depression, though I didn't feel that despondent. Turns out I was severely anemic. That got corrected in the hospital by a blood transfusion.

Now I look at what a mess the place is, and I don't know where to start. I guess it doesn't matter where . . . . just start anywhere.

The doctors at the hospital figured I must be bleeding in my gut somewhere. They did scopes of upper and lower GI tract, but didn't find any ulcer or any other abnormality. So I have more tests to go for as an outpatient.

This is about the 3rd time I've been seriously anemic in the past year. Doctors don't know why. I hope the anemia doesn't return for a while - at least long enough for me to get my apartment cleaned and straightened up.

I'ld been taking a pain medication that was helping me. Now I can't take it because doctors fear it could be the cause of internal bleeding. It's hard to get things done when I feel sore.
