I have not taken it personally but hubby was on it.
1) the taste will about kill you from what he said

2) about 20 minutes after taking it he'd want a nap but usually only was down for about 30 minutes then woke up and was good

Those were the only downsides he said he had from it.

According to him he didn't feel or see much difference. I on the other hand noticed a HUGE difference!! He was so much calmer instead of being so paranoid/angry, flying off the handle over little things, he didn't act so...for lack of a better word flighty before I know he heard things so you'd be talking to him and he'd tilt his head or look off and you could tell he was listening to something but it wasn't you after about two weeks on the Saphris that got 90% better, he wasn't always too tired to do go out and do things and he was just all around much more pleasant to be around.

Unfortunately he decided to quit treatment and once he ran out then uh yeah it's been fun.

I hope it works well for you. Just prepare yourself for the taste. His doc said he could put one of those breath strips in his mouth to dissolve with it BUT then another doc told him not to so I don't honestly know. I do know that when he did use the breath strip with it it didn't seem to work any different.
