not everyone we meet is at the same place as we may be. honesty is such a value - as is loyalty, and they seem to go hand in hand. a practice for many as not everyone had these values instilled in them from early years, you know?

I feel lucky in this life that there is even one honest to goodness person in my life at any given time - who says exactly what is on their mind - that takes courage to me.

the more open and honest I have learned to be with myself and others, the less I am disappointed in others in this regard because they have to learn at their own pace - and I realize that I might not want to 'cast my pearls' or cache out there to just anyone, up close and personal, and when I do, I realize it is a risk, and can disappoint... so allow for some nonsense, and be pleasantly surprised at the gems that sparkle for all the right reasons, along your journey!
