I sometimes see people post here wondering "does my therapist really care about me?"

Earlier today my daughter's therapist called me. She is going overseas for several weeks on vacation and wanted to ask me for my address so she could send my daughter a postcard while she is away. It will be a whole month between their sessions--a long time! I gave her the address and told her that I'm sure my daughter would love getting a postcard--it would mean a lot to her. She said, well your daughter means a lot to me. I care deeply about her.

Nice moment.

So if anyone is ever doubting whether therapists do care, yes, they do! I'm really glad my daughter has this lady in her life.
