Good reply Rohag

I did not cry when I broke my arm, aged 8.

The teachers said ''she can't have broken it as she is not crying.... or complaining'',,

Well yeah. I'd learnt to stuff my feelings even when in exruciating pain

I wonder why..... I cannot imagine...

As Rohag wisely said, there is a percentage of observers who will perceive crying as ''weakness'' and who will exploit any perceived sign of ''weakness'' or attack it. Eff them too

(not anyone on msf)
