I understand. Even thinking about going on a restrictive diet will set me bingeing.
You might google The Starch Solution, or WFPB - Whole Food Plant Based. This is what i try to follow. Emphasis on veg and starch. Like make a plate half veg, half starch.
Or the magician Penn and Teller (i forget which) ate only potatoes for a few months and wrote a book about it. He lost a lot of weight.
