I shall cut this short

After undertaking a course of CBT a few years back the therapist recommended I undertake Psychotherapy. I was then passed from pillar to post and was eventually offered counselling...again....which I refused as I was excited at the prospect of undertaking some therapy that might really benefit me.
So I am now wondering how I might go about getting involved in psychotherapy again? And how useful people have found it?
