You might need to wipe down your walls and ceilings? the smoke smell might be attached to the paint or plaster. I assume you don't have central a/c... it took me changing filters so often I couldn't buy enough of them (it seemed)...
Any cloth wall hangins, curtains, etc and towels, bedspread etc might also need to be washed.
