It's so odd here now. It's like the pandemic isn't happening. Many people don't wear face masks. No social distancing. On Monday contact tracing isolation is being dropped for vaccinated (yet vaccination doesn't stop transmission it reduces it) which I knew but apparently you no longer are being asked to test either which seems strange. I kind of feel like it's just being given up on. Yet people are still being infected (33,000 today) and although much lower than Jan still hospitalizations and deaths.

If this is freedom it's not particularly good from my perspective.

And yes I have fatigue from it all too, I haven't had a holiday in 2 years now and I feel selfish for admitting that of course and thank you to people like your brother Sarah. I can't begin to imagine what it must have been like.
