Well, we have gone one week with daily new cases below 1,000 and there are fewer than 1,000 ICU patients.

My husband is supposedly going back to the office on a part-time basis next week, but there seems to be no real plan in place such as how they will manage the public. Will people have to make an appointment? How many people can be in the office at once? Will they be required to ask the public to prove they are vaccinated? No one knows yet. Oh, and his boss is antivax, so she hasn't gotten the vaccine. A while ago, the head office was asking him and his co-workers if they had been vaccinated. He didn't respond because legally they are not supposed to ask that in the workplace.

The completely unqualified regional health director for my region (got the job because of daddy's connections) just resigned to run for congress in one of the smaller regions of the country. She did a pretty crap job. I hope she loses.
