Our mandatory office shifts have already been cancelled because of the rising numbers. I'm relieved, even if it is more for the social anxiety issues I would have at the office in the current situation.

Germany will be ending free testing in October to encourage people to get vaccinated. I don't really get the reasoning. The vaccination is looking less and less effective especially with the delta variant. Wouldn't it be better if even vaccinated people could get tested before events / social gatherings?

I was happy to get vaccinated, hoping some sort of normalcy would return soon. I'm sure I'm not the only one . But it feels like this mess is never ending
