I read recently one epidemiologist thought Covid would be here for seven years. Who knows if they are right or wrong. This whole thing with Delta and the vaccine not being as effective after eight months is really discouraging. I go back and forth about whether I am being too cautious or not cautious enough. A friend is in town from another state but I don't think we will see each other because neither of us want to meet indoors and it's going to rain for the next three days.

@Rose76 I am with you on being tired of virtual socializing. Outside still feels safe to me as long as it is not crowded. My library has some kind of outdoor book club and I'd like to check that out before it gets too cold.
