Right now I see my new psychiatrist once per month. He is nice in telling me to always call, if I need to. There was a time recently when he offered me an appointment in between. I certainly can't complain. However, my old American psychiatrist saw me far more often than I think is normal. I often saw him every three weeks, even when doing fairly well. When doing less well, every other week or even once per week if in a slight crisis.

I quit my most recent therapist in Czech Republic because she was not a good fit. Plus, her office was sort of far away. I do have an appointment with a new therapist next month. I'm not sure how often I will see him. I was seeing the former one every other week. In the US, it really varied. My last US therapist was weekly, but I had had some that saw me only every other week or even every three weeks. The every three week one was because of that therapist's availability. Plus, the cost.
