I was about this time last year. It was through zoom, they emailed you a link that led to Zoom and you enter a meeting where you see all the faces through their webcams and the counselors are there too. You just kinda shoot the **** for a bit until everyone's logged in then what we did with so many people was split into separate "rooms" and then we all said our names and did group as normal just virtually (which did make a lot of people more distracted/less interactive than during in-person groups just to warn you if you notice that happening in your group). It wasn't as good as in person, but it was certainly better than not getting any treatment at all.
Hope your IOP helps you out, you sure deserve it.
