Can you ask the more active ones about the ones you don't know about? I have one that won't speak to anyone except Beau. So I ask Beau about that one and that was how I learned her name.
If you have a hard time getting them to listen to you, maybe you could try to make a game of it somehow. I'm not sure how, but let me think about it and I will let you know if I think of anything.
