Myself and hubby and all 3 children have adhd. I learned how to fight the system and advocate with my first child. I knew how to play the game and no one messed with me after that. In fact I was an advocate for local parents and their kids- I used to joke that the reason the director of special services retired early is because she didnt want to see my face at anymore child study team meetings!
