I can see where the T might have had good intentions but I can totally see how that could open up attachment wounds and confusion and all sorts of difficult things. It's nice when our T's can just be T's and not try to take on extra roles in our life. Because they can't really. I'm sorry your T missed the boat on this and I hope you get to feeling better soon.
