It's very natural that you would miss having this social contact with someone who cared about you, even if it wasn't actually therapy. From what I understand, people in the mental health industry are used to clients coming and going and don't usually get angry about it. I don't see any harm in contacting her for a session, the worst that can happen is she says no. Are you seeing any progress in finding a new therapist?
