The pool closes Sunday. The weather will be beautiful from now until then thankfully. The water and air are getting cooler. It’s time to wrap it up. I’m looking forward to fall: pumpkin lattes, pumpkins in general and the changing colors plus burning my fall candles and big pots of chili. I’ll meet my daughter the weekend after it closes to visit so it won’t sting too much.

My brother got into the insulin in his disoriented state and we could not tell how much or little he had injected himself with. Just flat out dangerous. It made for a few harrowing hours but finally made mom realize that we’ve got to start moving towards a nursing home as soon as possible.

I hurt my arm rather badly trying to help my brother up from a fall. I can’t even lift my cell phone with it right now. I feel like a bird with a broken wing. Going to call the doctor this morning.
