I think when you tell your employer about disability, its called disclosure and there are laws to protect those who have disabilities and need accommodations (such as needing to work less hours). Its scary to think about possible discrimination from disclosing a disability. But they can't fire you on that basis or anything and I would hope the supervisor you tell would keep in confidential. I don't know if there are laws about that or not but its (keeping it mum) the professional thing to do. What do your support workers say you should do?
