Sometimes it's the little things. I know that getting takeout food is considered safe, but my husband is kind of a germaphobe in the best of times, so he never has wanted to get delivery/takeout since the pandemic started. Suddenly, yesterday, he decided he wanted to order a pizza, so we did. Things feel pretty safe here right now.
Most schools are back in either in-person or hybrid modes right now. I haven't heard of any outbreaks related to in-person classes here. Masks are required in schools. They have paused the vaccinations in the 12-17 age group to focus on the booster shots for older people and adults that haven't gotten vaccinated yet, but they are supposed to start up again. I just read that Sinovac received emergency approval for kids 6 and over. I guess they figure it is traditional vaccine tech so maybe safer for that age group?
