I hope I can reassure some of you about Delta, yes it is more contagious but the vaccines really seem to make it more like flu or a cold.

In the uk only just over 1% of those who died this year from covid were fully vaccinated, the rest were either only one dose or unvaccinated (by far the majority). I think this is being seen in the US too.

It is still a problem to hospitals, because they can still get overwhelmed by unvaccinated people but I think as individuals we have so much less to worry about if we're vaccinated.
