Hi all. I'm starting my own thread because I'm inpatient. Got here a couple days ago. Not feeling well at the moment- queasy with a migraine. They gave me Tylenol, but it's not working. They discussed ibuprofen but I can't take that because it interacts with another drug I'm on.
I got to the ER three days ago.
I did that and within 5 minutes they were banging down the outside door! I got my shoes on and TRIED to hurry but I was VERY slow. In fact, they had to help me down the steps to the front door into the ambulance. I spent from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m. in the regular ER getting fluids. Then I spent the from 7 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. in the psych ER. Luckily, they gave me a room at the same hospital- I like this hospital's psych department. For one thing, they have computers you can use! So I'm here trying to stay out of my room, but this migraine is really making me want to lay down. The constant nausea is getting to me. I asked my nurse for something for it but she hasn't gotten back to me yet. Just Tylenol isn't going to cut it!
So I'm going to groups and trying to stay out of my room, but I need to talk on the phone with Caleb. It's calming!
I'll check back later. I don't know if I'm up to checking in on the check in thread just at the moment. I gotta go lay back down. The nausea is getting really bad!
Oh! Good news! The nurse just came and gave me some Zofran for the nausea.
