I used to use it - you can get very detailed and informative answers, but I don’t think it’s moderated as well as it could be so sometimes you can get judgmental/ignorant answers and comments on your questions, too. Sometimes they get downvoted enough to collapse and get hidden, but not always. I think the risk is probably minimal but it’s definitely there.
In my experience most answers do get responses fairly quickly.
