I've gone to the hospital when I desperately needed med changes because symptoms were bad and my pnurse couldn't see me for weeks even though technically I probably wasn't a danger to myself or others.

If you haven't slept for three days and don't think you'll sleep anymore over the weekend, I'd say that's a valid reason to go and at least get assessed because things can spiral quickly. You could also go and ask for a referral to a PHP/IOP that does med management (the last one I went to doesn't but I've been to one that has). I'd say if you can find a PHP/IOP that does med management, try that first. You could also google "PHP's (or IOPs) near me" and see what comes up. Or if you can wait until Monday you can ask your treatment team. Keeping in mind a lot of programs are closed on the weekends too. Or you could call a crisis line and ask them for their opinion (but make it clear you are not an immediate danger to yourself and don't need anyone to come out to your house).

If you do go IP, that's okay! It's better to go sooner than before your symptoms get worse and you have a longer stay in a harder to treat condition.

"Why not?"
"Because...because...I think it might be because if I knew I wouldn't be able to look for them."
"What, are you crazy?"
"It's a possibility I haven't ruled out yet,"
Thanks for this!
