I agree with Moose. This is interesting. I will say that I'm skeptical that Michael Jackson had bipolar disorder. He obviously had other issues, though.
I read something similar about Robin Williams in a biography on him, meaning that he acted a bit differently in private than in public. Apparently he was much more "normal" with friends and family, whereas in public he was constantly exhibiting a figurative "Star of the Show Syndrome", as I call it. And though he sometimes appeared manic, the biography never brought that up as a diagnosis. Again, I can't help but assume it was more the "Star of the Show" deal I referenced. Or even a type of anxiety, of sorts. He also abused cocaine, at times, too.
