I nearly always use wings, but I will agree it’s trickier to fit them properly. Especially if they’re made so that the back adhesive strip cover somehow pulls the wing strips off with it. So irritating when the wings get stuck to the pad so you can’t use it if they don’t come unstuck. The only benefit is that they stay in place better for me.
