This is what it said when I googled it

“Taking green tea along with stimulant drugs might cause serious problems including increased heart rate and high blood pressure. Avoid taking stimulant drugs along with caffeine”

It says you shouldn’t be drinking it with beta blockers.

It also says

“Beta-blockers, Propranolol, and Metoprolol -- Caffeine (including caffeine from green tea) may increase blood pressure in people taking propranolol and metoprolol (medications used to treat high blood pressure and heart disease)”

I’m on propranolol for the physical side effects of anxiety. I haven’t had any issues today from the 64oz I chugged. My anxiety is actually lower then it has been these last few days. I just remember my last therapist mentioning it being an issue. Kava you should for sure avoid if you have mental health issues. I’ve had issues with that a few times and I finally had to get rid of all my tea that had it.
