I did get the donuts. The drive thru line wasn’t too bad. I accidentally ordered the wrong ones though but I realized it right before I made it up front. But I had to pull around again instead of just going backwards because a lady was behind us who ordered a whole dozen of the Halloween donuts and some other stuff but luckily I got what I wanted. I only wanted 1 enchanted cauldron donut but my mom always makes me get one for my brother when holiday donuts are out. So I got 2.

But the grocery store websites inventory was not correct. The whole point of why I went out of my house this morning in the first place was to do specific grocery store shopping not to buy donuts.

What a mess these online things are. My mom is ordering Christmas presents now because the experts are saying things are going to get real bad for the holidays.
I hope your day is going well, Mountaindewed! I'm glad you were able to get the donuts you hoped for, but I'm sorry that it took extra work and some fixing to finally get the order correct.

Indeed, online shopping can be a hassle these days. That's all I do is online shopping for package or contactless door deliveries. Most of the time, they get my orders right. However, sometimes, they get my orders completely wrong, or they deliver it accidentally to the wrong place, or they pick expired or soon-to-be expired items instead of items that would normally last at least a couple of weeks (had I picked them myself). To alleviate these mishaps, I've utilized any section for commenting with instructions for EVERY ITEM plus the overall delivery instructions on how to ring me to get buzzed in and where to go from the front door to the elevator to my floor and then to my apartment - as if I were talking with a kindergartener. It sometimes takes that level of instruction for contactless door deliveries, unless the delivery person is protesting contactless deliveries and mask-wearing (such as was the case with my past orders in this area from two distinct companies that I no longer do business with). Indeed, because of many reasons, there will be delays in deliveries, including contactless door deliveries and mail-order package deliveries, according to various news media outlets.
