A so-so kind of day but I felt like I was in pretty good spirits and wondered why.
One thing that happened that wasn't so good is that my friend called me this morning and asked me to go to lunch with him on Wednesday. I turned it down because I would have to pick him up, take him to that place, and then bring him home. It's a round trip that's a lot of miles for me. It cost so much for gas and I'm not in a great place financially right now. He doesn't get it. Plus, his wife has a volunteering job close to where I live. I suggested that she can bring him to my place and we'd have lunch together at my home. He didn't want to do it.
