I don't know enough about BPD or sociopathy to have an educated opinion. I would think that these two are not identical though since if they were primarily the same, then why would they constitute separate diagnostic categories? But like I said, I am not well informed. Hopefully others here with better information will see your post and respond to it with something really helpful. I am very sorry that you are burdened with BPD. It is a heavy burden to bear I have heard. Best to you!
