I am also part of the LGTBQ community so I help facilitate support groups for teens in that community through The Montrose Center: the Montrose Center: Houston's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) center!
These are also on Zoom right now.

And I recently became a NAMI peer support group facilitator, so I do zoom groups for NAMI Greater Houston: NAMI Greater Houston - 501 (c)(3) Nonprofit - You are not alone!

But every large city has tons of volunteer opportunities. I needed to do something on weekends or I would just sleep all day (no family). I found Minds Matter through Volunteer Match: VolunteerMatch - Where Volunteering Begins

Wow, you are doing some terrific things! I was a NAMI Connections group facilitator for over a year, then covid hit. I'm hoping to get back to volunteering with NAMI when we meet in person again.
