I was thinking of asking a question sort of like sarahsweets. I'd be curious to learn if you know what is causing yours and how it presents. I have read a bit about tinnitus in the past. Very often it is related to physical hearing-related issues, like sarahsweets hints at. However, there can be cases (other than psychosis) when people hear things that don't exist. In my case, I had a good one and a half year period of non-psychotic auditory "hallucinations", primarily musical but then they morphed into other forms. I'll say that that period did pass. Though I may never be 100% sure of their cause(s), I have my theories. For at least the ones I had.
