I’m kind of going out of my mind right now, hoping my purchase doesn’t fall through. It’s been difficult lately because my Solicitor’s site got hit by a cyber attack, and because of work/other appointments I’ve missed a few phone calls from my estate agent and the solicitor, though I did call back as soon as I could.
I got a call from my estate agent today though, and they said they were chasing the solicitor up and would let me know if there were any updates. My mortgage broker tried to call early evening, but unfortunately I had popped out for a few minutes without my phone. I’m going to call back in the morning, if she doesn’t call first. Nothing in the emails/calls I have had suggested anything was untoward, though.
I’m still scared this is going to fall through, though. The flat has been newly listed on the other site at only a tiny bit more money than I offered.
