Marie is a protector and she is GOOD at what she does. She wants to defend you and she wants to keep you from getting hurt.

I know sometimes it is hard, but I'm going to ask you to think about even Marie calling you a "slob" in terms of protection. Protection is Marie's job and the vast majority of what she does is geared toward that goal. When Marie calls you a "slob" or tells you that people don't care about you, she does it because she doesn't want you to make yourself vulnerable. It was VERY vulnerable for you to share what you shared, and that's taking a risk. Marie doesn't want you to take those risks, because she is supposed to protect you from getting hurt. So she'll do whatever she can to make sure nobody inside gets hurt.

I think it's also WONDERFUL of Marie to care about protecting outsiders, too. I told you she had good intentions!!

Marie is a very important part of your little group, sweetie.
