I've had tinnitus since I was roughly 6 years old and I learned to cope with it for the most part in that first night. Its a high pitched bieping sound, but I only hear it when I try to listen for it and when it changes in tone or pitch. I'm sorry to hear yours is that bad and I do hope iron will get you some relief.
