Hi Miss Laura. I wonder if a grief support group would be helpful for you. When I lost my mother, it was something I had to eventually ask for, during a hospitalization. Though my bipolar disorder was out of control at the time, it was if they totally ignored a big trigger for the episodes that hospitalized me. Bipolar medications don't in themselves relieve grief. Continued grief is often a trigger for bipolar episodes.

Psych Medications:
* Tegretol XR (carbamazepine ER) 800 mg
* Lamictal (lamotrigine) 150 mg
* Seroquel XR (quetiapine ER) 500 mg

I also take meds for blood pressure, cholesterol, and tachycardia.
