Hey guys. As some of you already know, me and Nick moved out to our own place. So relieved and it removed the stress on me a lot. I’m thankful for his family for letting me stay at their place for months, they spoiled me and did everything they could to make me feel comfortable but I’m just too broken to live with people I just met. I also felt like I was being a burden even though they said they’re more than happy to have me there. So here’s a new chapter. Can’t believe it’s almost 6 months since I moved to States. It’s been both hard and fun. Hard because I’m far from my family and a new culture and environment are challenging. But at the same time it’s fun due to a whole new experience and adventure. I feel safer in a new country too because my home country smells like PTSD, too many triggers there. I’ve been learning how to cook these few days, I was spoiled by my mom and sister back home that I barely cooked. I’m slowly gaining back my independence. My goal for the next summer is to open an Etsy store selling my paintings. I’m working hard to enhance my painting skill to reach to the point where my painting is worth selling. My birthday is tomorrow and Nick said he’ll buy me a desk to paint on as a birthday present. Wishing you guys a fun weekend!
