Since I have been in my new home in Kentucky & have left my husband way out of my life, I have been surprised at some of my luck.

Never in my life have I ever won anything.....those raffles you enter you name into....nothing....never a word.

However, since I have been here, I went to the Mary Todd Lincoln tea at the library & won the grand prize....& free tea for 2 at the historical Aspen Hall bed & breakfast.

I went to Shaker Village for Mercer County days.....& put my name into 2 drawings (as I got there at the end of the day)......My name was drawn for both.....I received 4 historical pictures of our town & a gife certificate at the Kentucky Fudge Company.

What does this have to do with spiritual one wonders......well, the luck of the draw, casting lots, throwing dice......we may all think that it's just chance how things turn out......but casting lots was the way God used to show what he true choice was.....how he was in control of the outcome of the lots that were cast.

Why it wasn't the million dollar lottery instead of pictures.....I could only wish....but then again....I didn't enter my name into the million dollar lottery.....we never know when we toss our luck to chance.....what God's outcome for us really will be.
